KC Courses in Brazil

New course programme for 2010 / 2011

We are pleased to announce we are continuing to develop a programme of courses in Brazil. The courses are hosted Marlene Muller. Sarah Mottram and Elisangla Bof have both tutored with Pablo Marinho. In May this year Sarah lectured at the International Congress on Manual Therapy, in Fortaleza. Her presentations were: Kinetic Control - Uncontrolled movement in relation to pain and dysfunction and Performance Stability - Uncontrolled movement in relation to risk of injury and performance.

In November / December Patrik Pedersen is visiting Porto Alegre and with Pablo Marinho will be presenting the Kinetic Control Courses, Concepts, Lumbar and Neck.

In May / June 2011 Sarah Mottram and Pablo Marinho will be presenting a series of Kinetic Control courses in Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia. The programme will include the Concepts course,  Lumbar Spine, Cervical Spine, Sacro-iliac Joint and Shoulder.

In August Andy Barr NBA Injury Prevention/Performance Specialist and Performance Stability Accredited Tutor  lectured at both  the Tijuca's and Cabo Frio's Campus at the Veiga de Almeida University (UVA) in Rio. Andy presented lectures on Injury Prevention and Performance Enhancement. Andy plans to return to Brazil in 2011 and tutor Performance Stability courses: The Foundation Movement & Performance Screen and Advanced Movement Optimisation Training. Brazil will host the FIFA's World Cup in 2014 and the Olympics in 2016 so it's great to be getting the programme started.
