We are always highlighting the importance of scapular orientation when managing problems of the neck and shoulder.


This article published in Manual Therapy in 2010 suggests a 'scapular positioning correction exercise' (focusing on actively maintaining optimum scapular orientation) may be effective in re-establishing optimal muscle activity levels in the trapezius muscle.
