ONE

Movement Impairments – Movement Matters

So here we get you started on our functional movement courses. A series of two day course help you to put in place the practical application of Kinetic Control. This Level 1 introduction gives you the skills you need to find and analyse the movement dysfunctions / impairments that contribute to impaired function and pain.

This stage has 3 courses that can be done by anyone, anywhere, at any time. Each module focuses on a broad topic that will benefit all movement practitioners.

Optimising Movement Efficiency to Manage Recurrence and Improve Function

When undertaking any activity or sport being able to properly control movement has an impact on how a person performs and feels. At this next level of our physical therapist courses, you be given the skills to evaluate and retrain optimum efficiency.

With these Level 2 courses, you have the choice of multiple modular options that can be taken at any time to suit your CPD requirements.

Advanced Movement Options

This is the perfect opportunity to advance to a higher level. By this stage you’ll be exploring in depth regions and topics, enabling you to deliver an even higher quality of care. There is a comprehensive series of courses for you continue developing your understanding of Kinetic Control.

  • Managing movement: Solutions for the SIJ and pelvis (4 days)
  • Thoracic spine and ribs (2 days)
  • Managing Movement: Impairments of the lower leg (2 days)
  • Clinical judgement: Making the best clinical decisions (3 days)
  • Myofasical trigger points for movement optimisation and pain (2 days)
  • Managing Movement: elbow, forearm, wrist and hand (2 days)

Kinetic Control rehabilitation courses are designed for medical health professionals such as physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, podiatrists etc registered with the HPC. In exceptional circumstances experienced non medical health professionals may be allowed to attend Kinetic Control courses but these participants MUST be able demonstrate that the course material is within their scope of practice and that they have appropriate professional liability insurance to cover them for their attendance at the course and the course content.

This course has both theoretical and practical elements. Please come prepared for the practical work.
