MODULAR COURSES

Our NEW modular course structure is designed to enhance
your skill acquisition - co-Ordination efficiency, Muscle Synergies and Masterclasses.
A Structured Approach

This flexible structure allows you to work towards accreditations within your own personal timeframe. These modules include both theoretical and practical study to build on your current qualifications and deliver the strategies essential to change the control of movement in a range of environments.

Movement

Efficiency

co-ordination efficiency

In this module we deliver a series of two day course to help you to put in place the practical application of Kinetic Control. The courses give you the skills you need to find and analyse the control of movement in all your patients and explore how these contribute to impaired function and pain. Retraining strategies will be explored.

This module has 3 courses, 2 days each that can be done by anyone, anywhere, at any time. Each module will benefit all movement practitioners.

  • Coordination efficiency to optimise movement retraining for the low back and hip (was Solutions for movement impairments of the low back and hip)
  • Coordination efficiency to optimise movement retraining for the neck and shoulder (was Solutions for movement impairments of the neck and shoulder)
  • Multi-joint synergies in alignment and coordination

MUSCLE SYNERGIES

Current research highlights motor adaptations to pain, injury and fatigue for example.  These adaptations can be seen in changes to both the co-ordination  variablity and efficiency of muscle synergies in functional tasks.

When undertaking any activity or sport, the ability vary synergistic patterns has an impact on how a person performs and feels. In this module you be given the skills to evaluate and retrain optimum muscle efficiency. Two day courses.

  • Targeting muscle synergies to optimise movement retraining for the low back & hip
  • Targeting muscle synergies to optimise movement retraining for the neck & shoulder
  •  Managing translation through local muscle synergists  - Targeting local muscle training

Kinetic Control rehabilitation courses are designed for medical health professionals such as physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, podiatrists etc registered with the HPC. In exceptional circumstances experienced non medical health professionals may be allowed to attend Kinetic Control courses but these participants MUST be able demonstrate that the course material is within their scope of practice and that they have appropriate professional liability insurance to cover them for their attendance at the course and the course content.

This course has both theoretical and practical elements. Please come prepared for the practical work.
